Assertive Discipline and Corporal Punishment! By: Mayra Munoz

 Attend a community college for my first two years.  Then transfer to a University and major in education.

 Ms. Yelle (k-2 nd grade elementary counselor)  Mrs. Dunn (5 th grade elementary school teacher) Works about 7 to 8 hours a day. Salary ranges from experience and degree.

Assertive Discipline Approach  Teacher develops easy to understand discipline plan that contains: Rules (students must follow at all times) Rewards (positive influences for obeying rules) Consequences( when students disobey)

Corporal Punishment  Adults inflicts pain towards a child in response to child’s misbehavior.  Aims of this punishment: Fix the issue Prevent it from happening again Set an example

Poor educational environment Inflicting Pain on Children Children fear adults
