Phase 1 – Starting Institutional Arrangements Government and FAO agreement Formal government request NOT mandatory (except in case of TCPf) Resource mobilization for formulation (funds and staff) Establishment of a CPF Core Team Country level FAO level (SRO, RO, HQ) Management arrangements The right team is in place

Phase 1 – Starting Concept note & Roadmap Provides the rationale for the CPF formulation: Context analysis Stakeholders to be involved in the process Brief overview of FAO record in the country Initial mapping of resource partners Elements of communication strategy Roadmap Resources required for the CPF formulation Get the CPF Cycle in Motion Concept note can be used for TCPf request

Phase 1 – Starting Validation Concept note & Roadmap are circulated to CPF focal points at SRO/RO/HQ: to describe the approach to facilitate adequate planning of human and financial support to promote coordination and integration
