The image that we project depends on our individual and group discipline. We are all members of a goodwill delegation and are ambassadors of our country. Our speech, conduct and attitude will reflect on the group as well as all the people of Singapore. Pupils must at all times exercise self-discipline and obey all instructions from the teachers. They are expected to behave with goodwill, to act in a responsible way, to be friendly, courteous, co-operative and considerate. CODE OF CONDUCT Uphold the good name of the School Be punctual for all activities and meal times Be respectful of the customs, culture and taboos of our host country

GENERAL BEHAVIOUR Be appreciative. Do not comment unfavourably on the service you receive or make comparison with conditions in Singapore. Eat your food. Host will be upset if you do not eat your food. Participate in all activities as set in the programme. Do not pursue your own programme. Cease all activities and return to your room to sleep latest by 10pm. Check that your room is securely locked before you leave it and before you sleep at night. Call the teachers promptly on the phone when you suspect something is wrong.

GENERAL BEHAVIOUR You must attend to your own luggage, especially during embarkation and disembarkation. Always look around to ensure all luggage is taken with the group before proceeding to the next destination. When in doubt, always ask. Do not act on your own initiative. Boys are strictly NOT allowed to enter the girls’ rooms and the girls likewise are NOT allowed to enter the boys’ rooms AT ALL TIMES. If you feel unwell, inform your teachers immediately. If harassed, consult the tour guide or any of the teachers.

DO NOT.. Carry things for strangers Wander off alone anywhere Change hotel room or seats without the teacher’s permission Admit any strangers into your room at any time of the day Remove/damage any items from the dormitories Show your money unnecessarily Wear any jewellery on the trip

 BAGGAGE - For your own convenience, you are reminded not to carry more than one backpack/haversack and one sling bag  PASSPORT › You will NOT be holding passports unless passing the customs / immigration check-points (Singapore & Indonesia). Upon clearance at both the check-points, please hand your passports over to your teachers in- charge. All passports will be returned to you upon arrival in school.  CURRENCY › There is NO NEED to change any Indonesian rupiah. SGD is accepted in the Loola Resort and there will be no need for any spending outside of the resort. › You are advised to bring no more than SG$30. Brought to You by: Transinex Travel

 FOOD & BEVERAGE › Tap water is not drinkable in Indonesia. Please drink only bottled water or boiled water.  TIME ZONE › Indonesia is one hour behind Singapore. We are at GMT +8 while Indonesia is at GMT +9.  CLIMATE › Average temperature is between 21 C and 32 C.  LANGUAGE › Bahasa Indonesia is the main language for Indonesia. However, simple English is spoken in some places.  WHAT TO BRING › If you are on medication, please ensure that you bring enough medicine to last you for the entire trip, as there may not be an opportunity to refill your prescription enroute. › Other recommended items are: › Skin moisturizer & lip gross › Foldable umbrella / rain coat / hat or cap › The general first aid kit such as elastoplast, panadol, airsick pills etc. › Shampoo / Conditioner
