Architectural Drawings Plans are views from the top down (bird’s eye). Elevations are flat two-dimensional views. Sections show a view of one “slice” of a planned structure. Detail Drawings are prepared at a larger scale to reveal precise information. Renderings are perspective drawings to show how the finished product will look. Models 3D proportional replica of the structure.
