 Essential Questions: What questions will lead student learning?  What animals live in the arctic regions?  How do animals survive harsh weather in the arctic regions?  How can I find and share information about arctic animals?

   Short video to introduce Arctic Animals.  Identifying and Recognizing Arctic Animals SMART Notebook lesson Identifying and Recognizing Arctic Animals  Search Web sites to get information:    

 Using the Glogster web site students will create a report with the information they found in their searches about the arctic animal and show case it to the class as their report. Print it for later.

 Present information gathered by using organization charts, graphs, or diagrams using teractives/venn/  Or Microsoft office or excel  Create postcards at /resources/interactives/postcard/  y/login.aspxhose.

 Students will collaborate and share the information they have found on arctic animals.

 To enhance learning take any unit you teach and add these 21 st century skills.  There are so many ways information can be taught to students using these skills.  I believe kids learn more when they actively take part.
