We have addressed the priority areas by: renaming and reorganizing existing planned programs splitting them out from our existing research and Extension programs. New Mexico State University

Exceptions are: Childhood Obesity Prevention, which we have kept in Health and Wellbeing Climate Change, which is part of Sustainable Management of Natural Resources. New Mexico State University

Sustainable Management of Natural Resources contains KAs covering: Range and forest management techniques Water and soil management techniques Appraisals of forest and range conditions for production of livestock forage, water yield, wildlife habitat, forest productivity, and reclamation activities appraisals and remediation of water, soil, and air. These improve the economic performance and long-term protection and sustainability of New Mexico's natural resource base. Includes Climate Change. New Mexico State University

Global Food Security and Hunger contains the KAs dealing with: Animal and plant genetics/genomics, reproduction, nutrition, physiology, health, quality, stresses, and management activities, which lead to improved varieties and management techniques for New Mexico producers Health and protection of plants and animals in production agriculture. Food Safety incorporates the KAs dealing with: New and improved food products and processing techniques, quality maintenance, and protection from pathogens. New Mexico State University
