What music does your brain like? By Taryn Gillespie

Problem In testing if different types of music will effect the test scores of my classmates.

Introduction Have your teachers ever played music while you’re testing? Well I’m going to see what kind of music will make you get better test scores!

Hypothesis I predict that country music will get the best test scores.

Materials I need… Test CD’s Classroom CD player Test subjects

Procedure Get every body in class to clear off desk and get out a pencil. Hand out test and tell them to put name on paper. Start music and start timer while I say start. grade tests.

Possible causes of error Laughing when music started! Distractions like people walking into room.

Results The results of my project are that country music got the best scores!

Conclusion Kids seemed to do best when listening to country music over rap, pop, and the Chipmunks!
