Hong Kong Budding Poets (English) Award Primary Section Secondary Section Open Section Length (minimum) 12 lines16 lines20 lines Poetic form Poetic form is open but should exhibit rhyme, rhythm, imagery and structure. Hong Kong Budding Poets (English) Award Poems must not have been previously published, self-published or published on a website or broadcast before 1 June Poems must be the original work of the author. Any infringement of competition rules and regulations will disqualify the student from taking part in the competition or winning an award.
