History of St Basil’s‘As long as it takes’ St Basils Church on Heath Mill Lane in Deritend 1971 The Double Zero Club was established by Revd Les Milner 1972 The Boot was the first youth homelessness shelter charity Reverend Les Milner - Managing Director The Boot saw 150 young people a month, lack of space, building repairs, The New Boot was established, Runcorn Cluster, Tennyson House/Radford House Carole Gething House, Priory House, Trentham House, Edmonds Court, Solihull, Floating Support, Family Mediation What we do now…

What St Basil’s offer Young People Now Mediation with Families – years old "They were there when I really needed them, when things got really bad. They didn't judge me or tell me what to do, they helped me to think things through. They would have got me a bed if I did (leave home). But I have managed to stay and look after my mum and get my own life and career going."
