  Explores travelled to many different places including the ground you stand on today! There are some explores that you have to know like Christopher Columbus, Neil Armstrong and Marco Polo. These three are the most famous but can you think of any more? Introduction

 Marco Polo  Marco Polo was a normal boy but when his father and his uncle went to china for the second time he went with them. It was the most beautiful sight he ever saw! Coming home there was a war in Genoa, his home land, he got arrested and put in prison with a writer called Rustichello da Pisa and wrote a book together called, “The travels of Marco Polo” and it became famous but nobody believed a word of it but it was all true! Not until other people visited China they found it was all true!

  Christopher Columbus did not discover America but he did put it on the map. The Vikings where the first ones there. He was sailing to America but he thought it was Asia!   Neil Armstrong was an astronaut and was the first man on the moon! His very famous words were, “Small step for man, big step for mankind!” He was born on the 5 th August 1930 but sadly he died at the age of eighty-two on 25 th august Neil Armstrong
