The cause  September, 11, 2001 was caused by 19 militants that came together with a terrorist group named Al-qaeda  These people were Islamic terrorists who were acting in retaliation for America’s support of Israel.  The retaliation was flying 4 planes and crashing them somewhere.

How the day unfolded  8:45 AM- American Airlines Boeing-767 was flown into the north tower of the world trade center  9:03 AM- e second flight flew into the south tower  9:45AM a third plane crashed into the Pentagon  9:56 AM the South Tower collapses  10:10AM a fourth plane crashes into a field in Pennsylvania  10:30 AM the North Tower of the WTC collapses.  5:07 PM the nerve for New York City defense was burning unchecked for 7 hours then collapses but nobody in it

Aftermath  In New York the aftermath was lots of dust and smoke clouds along with piles of dirt and other debris on the ground.  At the Pentagon there was about 20% of the building gone and lots of debris on the ground  In Pennsylvania there was a giant hole of dirt and debris from where the plane hit.

Number of people that died on the flights  On the first plane that crashed into the North Tower and South Tower all together 250 people were killed  The plane that crashed into the Pentagon killed 184 people aboard  The flight that flew into the field killed 40 passengers and crew members
