In order to make it meaningful, scholars often look at only a piece of history, as if looking through a telescope at a particular set of stars instead of the whole universe. We call this viewing history through a Lens. Three very useful lenses to help us focus on history are to look at the Political, Economic and Social aspects of history individually. What do you think would fall into each category? Write your answer at the top of pg. 15A
