Power assist suit or Exo-skeleton By steven jordan

The concept a POWERED ASSIST SUIT or EXO-SKELETON is a robotic frame, that mirrors the reaction or learns and copies a reaction the user have taken in order to aid them in their task to achieve ether a reaction against resistance and/or assist the user in that which was not physically possible without it

Origins in 1937 a series of books started to come out called 1937, Lensman books series by E.E. "Doc" Smith’s it is in this series that the first sign’s of the exoskeleton come out of science fiction in the concept of the “power armor” but it was not widely popular up until Science Fiction classic Starship Trooper where the popularity really started for the concept, though it was not until the late 1960’s when we saw this science fiction concept jump with the development of the hardiman it from there that it has evolved into at we not know

Current developments The first exo-skeleton was called the hardiman, developed in-conjunction between general electronics and the U,S military in the 1960's Though the hardiman never reached human testing Companies today are still pioneering towards the development of these suits for the future and know are in the testing stages with there prototype suits.

Companies in development

Current suit The suits mirror the movements and takes up the slack or pressure against the resistance The current direction for this technology is for mostly military uses estimated to make it production debut in the year 2016, Though there have been some toy versions developed though after developing these the develops stood back and cam to the deciding that they will not intended to move beyond the prototype stage into consumer production stage

Projected use Currently the exoskeleton suit technology is being developed for military purposes for physical assists of carrying, running, lifting and hopefully protection Medical industry for lifting and carrying patients surgery and rehabilitation or physical assist for those that have weak limbs Construction industries for Laboring purposes such as loading and carrying Fun being a vehicle like a scooter or costume to where

future Well we will ha suit not as to there as iron man yet but a skeleton frame that can be stepped into or strapped on that will be able to allow the user to jump further lift heavier weights or even walk again or function with a complete body once more
