Death valley Death valley is a death defying desert ……. Or is it?!?!?!

About Death Valley IIIIt is one of the hottest places on Earth. TTTThe sand dunes are pretty, but annoying in sand storms. TTTThey have little rain but what rain they do have comes down hard.

Where did all the sand come from?  Sand is made from rocks clashing together and scattering all over the place.  But how does it get here? Well, we can tell you how: the strong wind blows the sand to Death Valley and other deserts. The canyons were made many, many years ago when water used to run through the valley. The strong winds have eroded the rocks aswell.

Some of the villagers SSSSome of the villagers disagree with the names eg: Death Valley, Devils Golf Course and many other deadly names BBBBut the villagers say it is a very peaceful and is more alive than dead! TTTThe weather is so hot though that not many people live there.

The Devils Golf Coarse TTTThe Devils Golf Course is a desert covered in a thick layer of salt. AAAAt least 1000 people visit every year. IIIIt is one of the hottest places in the world! With temperatures as high as 42 degrees Centigrade.
