 Ali has double the amount of candy compared to Sandy. Dolah has less 3 candies compared to Sandy. Sandy has 12 candies. How many candies does Ali and Dolah have?  Can you calculate (23x54)+32=??

 Mental representation  How we store information in the brain?  Mental imagery of things that are not currently seen or sensed by the sense organs.

Lets play a game….

 Internal representation  What is going on inside the mind of human.  Concepts, schemas, scripts, formula in mathematics.  Imagination inside our mind.

 DRAW YOUR MAP….

 External representation  Things regarding from the outside world – perceive & learn.  symbols & symbol systems- words & language, numbers & mathematics, maps, icon.

 Scale errors are indication of a lack intergation between perception and action in typically developing young children (DeLoache et. al., 2004).  Clear signs of serious intent were persistence in trying to carry out the impossible action.

 Different of scale error  Eg: pushing car around the floor, often accompanied by car noises.

 Restructurations  Improve ways of learning to an easier and interesting ways possible.  Example: area of mathematics  Computational object (aka agent)  Euclid circle (the LOGO turtle)

 5 cores  Power Properties  Cognitive Properties  Affective Properties  Social Properties  Diversity Properties
