Presentation transcript:

Hand with a reflecting sphere In the first two classes, Professor Sidney showed the image in the right side. It’s called Hand with Reflecting Sphere, also known as Self-Portrait in Spherical Mirror is a lithograph print by Dutch artist M. C. Escher, first printed in January The piece depicts a hand holding a reflective sphere. In the reflection, most of the room around Escher can be seen, and the hand holding the sphere is revealed to be Escher’s. M.C.Escher “Hand with reflecting sphere”

You know how to do? The sphere in the image is similar to a mirror. Can you think of a way to make an equal in the lab? These guys can!

You know how to do? Can you express the chemical equations involved in this process? Remember your classes Qualitative Analytical Chemistry in the undergraduate course!
