MAlAYSIAN ECONOMY -Market economy- an economy that relies on production and distribution and is based on supply and demand. -Imports of 2011: electronic equipment, petroleum and liquefied natural gas, wood, chemicals -Exports of 2011: electronics, machinery, petroleum products, plastics -Malaysia struggles with budget and deficit -Malaysia's growth rate increased from 5%-7% since 2007

GEOGRAPHY

CLIMATE -Tropical; annual Southwest and Northeast Monsoons -climate change is very likely to have an affect on Malaysia; increasing rainfall and flood risks. It also increases drought risks -the Southeast monsoon is from late May to September. The northeast monsoon is from November to March

LANGUAGES SPOKEN There are many different languages spoken in Malaysia. Some of these languages are Malay, Chinese, Creoles, English and several other Southwest Asian languages. Malaysia is one of the biggest melting pots in the world which causes a variety of languages to be spoken there.
