Honduran White Bat By Elizabeth

Cute fact Honduran white bats looks like pigs.

Where do they live? Honduran White Bats lives in Honduras, Nicaragua, Western Panama, the Rain Forest, and in Eastern Costa Rica. They build leaf tents and live in them. They live in colonies with one male bat, several female bats and their children.

What is it’s size? Wing span: 4-5 inches. Length of tail: up to 2 inches.

What is it’s weight? Up to 6 ounces.

How dose it use sound to survive? It uses echolocation. Echolocation is when sound bounces back. Echolocation helps the bat find food, watch out for predators, and guide there way thou the night.
