Cell/Manor Project - Comparisons CELLMANOR 1.Mitochondria – carries material through the cell 2.Nucleus – directs the cells activities 3.Cytoplasm – Many different organelles are found 4.Ribosomes – Function as factories. Produce protein 5.Endoplasmic Reticulum – Network of passageways. Carries material 6.Golgi Body – receives material and transports to other parts of cell 7.Cell membrane – Protects the cell and regualtes what comes in and out 8.Vacuole – Store food, water and waste A.Peasant B.Manor House/ Castle C.Village D.Roads E.Church F.Blacksmith/mill G.River H.Farm Field/Crops/ Animals 1.The cell nucleus directs all of the cell’s activities similar to how a lord directs the activities of a manor from the manor house

King John and the Magna Carta 12/12/12

King John you have angered us by – Raising taxes and forcing us to buy goods at high prices – Ordering us to build your palaces – Demanding money for your war with France and losing land – Engaging in a quarrel with the pope
