 4 Spiral notebooks with a minimum of 70 pages each (1 for each quarter)  Glue stick or transparent tape-you will need to replace these as they run out.  Highlighters (any color)  Colored pencils  Optional item: safety scissors

 Students will do work in their notebooks EVERY SINGLE DAY!!! ◦ It is very important to keep up with their notebooks! ◦ I highly recommend looking at your student’s INB to see what they have been up to for the past month. This is also a great way to keep up with your student’s daily work.  Notebooks will be graded each unit  Notebook Quizzes will be unannounced approximately once a week.

 Modern Biology, Holt, Rinehart, and Winston.  Textbooks are available for use in class  Students have 2 options for home: ◦ Free online text at the following web address:  Username: dbiology2  Password: s2s2a ◦ Students may check out a textbook to leave at home for the entire school year…all they have to do is ask or take one home tonight!

 Grades and attendance can be accessed through Parent Link on Durango’s website at  A login & password must be obtained tonight in the Main office.  Grades will be updated at least weekly.

 I am available for extra help before or after school EVERY DAY!!!  All class PowerPoints/Assignments/Notes are posted at my.ccsd.net  Test Retakes are available for all tests within one week!  Questions & concerns  me at or set up a Parent-Teacher conference in the attendance office
