Lego Robotics Anthony Goodwin

Course Schedule: Week: 1. Intro to RCX, building, and RoboLab: Build using instructions. 2. Build using instructions, modify, program using structures. 3. Build using instructions, modify, and program to include RCX to RCX communications. 4. Build without using instructions and record using LEGO CAD or LDRAW. 5. Build without using instructions, modify, and program including sensors and internet. 6. Design Challenge Project. 7. Build and program Challenge Project. 8. Present project and presentation of write up as a web page and/or power point.

Here’s an example of the programming:

Week 1 In week 1 I built a crane which worked on one motor…

Week 2 In week 2 I built my first car. I decided to use a motor for each wheel to make it easier to turn.

Week 3 Week 5, I began my final creation. My work horse for the city.

Week 6 Week 7 I made the necessary adjustments to get the highest score possible. I added a touch sensor so it wouldn’t just run into stuff and stop.

Week 7 Last week I made the final adjustments and then proceeded to complete as many tasks as I could in the city. After my final try I scored 148 pts. On 3 programs so I’d say I did rather well.
