Norms shared rules of conduct in specific situations
Culture Traits o individual tool, act, or belief related to a particular situation/need Example: – using knives, forks & spoons to eat
Culture Complexes cluster of interrelated traits Example – Football contains many different types of materials, acts & beliefs
Culture Patterns combination of a number of culture complexes into an interrelated whole Example – baseball,basketball, football, soccer, swimming, tennis & track combine to form the American athletic pattern
