Project releases The high level synchronization of the different WPs is achieved through 3 project releases First release: project month 9 Second release: project month 21 Third release: project month 33 Each WP manager had to prepare a first description of the target functionalities for the releases: First draft: by October 20, 2000 Second release (after discussing inter-dependencies between the WPs): by November 17, 2000 This didn’t happen …
Project releases New proposed model: Use-cases could be the starting point for defining a list of requirement and Grid functionalities Applications (WP 8) define (short and long term) use-cases (by December 2000) ATF analyzes use-cases and defines Grid functionalities required in the releases (ATF workshop, mid of January) WPs receive from ATF the required Grid functionalities to implement In the meantime WPs are required to work on the evaluation of current technologies, on prototypes, etc…
