ONNO TUNÇ

Onno Tunç was a Turkish-Armenian musician and composer. He was one of the most well- known musicians in Turkey. He was born in His father’s name was Setrak, and his mother’s name was Valantin.

He worked as a composer and an arranger, also played the bass guitar and occasionally the double bass. He took part in Eurovision song contest as a composer and an arranger for numerous times, and represented Turkey in 1978 and 1981 as an arranger conductor. He was admired by many Turkish musicians.

In 1996, while returning to Istanbul, he passed away as a consequence of a plane crash.
