Illuminated letters & Zentagles

An illuminated manuscript is a manuscript in which the text is supplemented by the addition of decoration, such as decorated initials, borders and miniature illustrations.

The Zentangle method is a way of creating beautiful images from repetitive patterns. * To make zentangles more interesting you need to use several interesting lines, spirals, shapes and varied line thickness and then repeat those to create a pattern Zentangle

Instructions Practice the zentangle method Choose a letter style / font Make a 1 inch boarder around the perimeter of your paper (with a ruler) Draw your Letter Create Zentangles inside the letter Create Zentangles in the boarder (Make them different)
