Marc Newson Marc Newson is one on the most accomplished and influential designers of his generation born in Sydney Australia in 1963 and at 44 years old he has accomplished a lot. He works in aircraft design, product design, furniture design, jewellery, and clothing. Marc Newson incorporates a design style known as biomorphism to the various designs that he makes. The Style that he uses consists of smooth flowing lines and and a mix of transparency and translucency with sharp edges to create the effect of his designs and pieces. Marc Newson

As a Child Marc travelled Europe and Asia, before he went on to study jewellery and sculpture at Sydney College of the Arts. Marc Newson experimented with furniture design as a student. After graduating in 1984 Marc Newson was awarded a grant from the Australian Crafts Council.
