 14 classes  5 in Inverness spectrum centre  2 in Inverness High school  2 in Dornoch  Alness, Strathpeffer, Dingwall, Thurso and Aviemore  May 2011, 28 students sat their intermediate 2 and Higher exams

 COMBINES 2 UNITS  1 ESOL HN unit; Workplace communication in English  1 communication unit; Analysing and Presenting complex communication

 Unit code: DE1K 33  Unit purpose: This Unit develops oral and written communication skills in English at SCQF level 6. It is aimed at candidates for whom English is an additional language. The Unit is appropriate for use within a wide variety of business contexts.  On completion of the Unit the candidate should be able to:  1. Respond to written business communication.  2. Produce well structured written business information.  3. Contribute to an extended discussion on a complex vocational issue.  Credit value: 1 HN Credit at SCQF level 6: (8 SCQF credit points at SCQF level 6*)
