Pipette parts assemble ‘example 1’ Assembly operations presented with the 0.5÷10μl model! Following hints applicable to models: Please note: For pipette lower part dissassemble make sure to: - remove tip ejector first, - remove all parts from the shaft, with special attention to o-ring and seal DV/D2, LMP/LM2, OP2 DV/D10, LMP/LM10, OP10 DV/D20, LMP/LM20, OP20 DV/D50, LMP/LM50, OP50 DV/D100, LMP/LM100, OP100

2,3 4 Pipette parts assemble ‘example 1’ 1. Place a piston on the table. Rotate it to check if the piston is straight. 2. Place the spring on the piston, then the compression set. The set consist of 3 parts, connect before assembly. The same spring and compression set is used in models 2μl ÷ 250μl. 3. Place a compresion bush on the piston. Squeeze all elements and hold prior the sealing parts assembly. 4. Put a thin layer of grease on the piston. The piston needs to be moistured slightly, remove any excess of grease!

Hold still all parts and put the shaft on. Then place the nut. Do not release the grip on the parts yet, as the spring tention may cause the o-ring displacement and as a result untightness. 7. Holding the assembly carefully attach it with the handle and tighten the nut. Fix the nut tight! Poor fixing may result in shaft unfastening, bad precision and leakage. 5. Put a teflon seal on the piston. Hat shape end upwards! Then place the o-ring. If one or both parts are missing after disassemble, check if they were left inside the shaft.
