SOL Overview Compared to my tests, it will be a little bit different

What is on the test? 70 Questions—but only 60 count! –10 are “practice” questions that might be used in the future You won’t know which ones are real, and which ones are practice, so answer them all! The questions are arranged by different categories based on specific themes

What is on the test? The Emergence of a Global Age Renaissance, Reformation, Exploration, Trade Routes 10 The Age of Revolutions Scientific, French, Latin American & Industrial Revolutions; also Absolutism, Enlightenment, Napoleon and Nationalism 13 Era of Global WarsWWI, Interwar Period, WWII, 20 th C Genocides 10 The Post WWII Period Cold War, China, Vietnam, Decolonization in India & Africa, Terrorism, Religions 10 GeographyLocations of Empires in 1500s, Trade Routes, and Religions 8 Civics and Economics Trade, Mercantilism, English Civil War, Capitalism, Socialism, Communism, Great Depression, Current Political and Economic Issues 9

How will I take the test? On a computer Not only is it eco-friendly, but you will be able to check with your teacher for your score by the next day! Here is what it will look like: wh2/EOCwh203.htm

How long do I have? 1 1/2 hours Many of you will most likely finish early, so bring a book or something else to keep you occupied—you will NOT be allowed to use an iPod or a phone after you are finished Seriously! You cannot even have one in your pocket.

Some tips: Look for clues in the question, as well as any images or maps that are part of the question Avoid careless mistakes- don’t rush! You know more than you think you do! Be confident, but also be sure to study! Take your time and practice the skills we worked on all year: –Read the question carefully –Eliminate the wrong choices –Pick the best answer from what is left

How will I do? Find out by taking the 2012 test! ed_tests/2012/history/test12_world_history _2.pdf Or the 2007 test: ed_tests/2007/test07_worldhistory2.pdf
