Chapter One On one sunny and peaceful day Christina was looking through her bedroom window at the dark traces of the jungle which reminded her of her excursion that her teacher Miss Marie said about going to camp at the mysterious jungle and explore all the wonderful things that live there, and it was tomorrow. So she dashed rapidly downstairs to tell her parents if she could go camp and her parents agreed. So she went back to her bedroom and got all her things packed up in her bag and had a deep sleep.

The next day Phil received the and replied “Yeah sure” So then they started packing excitedly to go camping in the wild jungle. When they arrived Christina’s parents said that they had to stay by themselves because they were busy. When it was getting dark they built their tents and slept quietly and scared in horror, but Phil knew they were safe in their tents. Then the next morning they were delighted to see many animals in front of their tents. Phil couldn’t believe with his very own eyes all the wonderful animals playing and fighting in the jungle. The next day she woke up early at 6:00 am and she rushed to the kitchen and ate cereals and went to school. When she arrived she waited for her friend Sam to come. When Sam arrived they hopped on the bus together and sat on the second-last seat. When they arrived in the Jungle they jumped out and were getting ready to camp. It was getting dark so her teacher miss Marie said “Come on class we have to get some sleep.” So Sam and Christina slept in their tents and slept. But then Sam heard an animal growling, so she woke up Christina to see what was out there. Christina went outside with her bunny slippers on, then the growling came nearer and nearer until they saw a Lion!

The next morning Christina emerged from her tent and was amazed of all the wonderful animals she could see in front of her very own eyes. Phil was excited to see all the animals too. Before they went outside to explore everything Christina had breakfast while she was eating Phil decided to skip breakfast. So they went out exploring to see what was out there. Its foot was stuck under the tree that was thick and too heavy to push it so they asked for help from their teacher and their class. So Christina woke up the teacher while Sam was waking up the students. When miss Marie woke up she said “What is wrong?” “There is a Lion and its foot is stuck under the tree!” replied Christina and Sam. So the class ran rapidly with their teacher to help. When they found the Lion and his foot in great pain they pushed the tree harder and harder. The tree finally got pushed away from the Lion’s foot. But then Christina said “Hang on a second, that’s not a Lion it’s a baby cub!” Then one of the students called Max said “ It must of got lost while he was walking with its mother.” The baby cub started to like Christina and Sam for saving its life. So then they took it with them to their tents and tied him up with a piece of string so he won’t get lost again. Then miss Marie said “ Lets get some sleep now we’ve got a mother to find.”

Chapter Two The next day Christina woke up with the cub licking her face. So then she fed him her pieces of chicken that she took with her incase she wanted a snack to eat. So then they went hiking to find his mother until they heard lions roaring behind the bushes so they dashed through the bushes to see if it was its mother but it was just gorillas playing and fighting, so they kept on searching.

They were still going for hours and hours and they still haven’t found a clue where his family was until they saw footprints on the dusty track that they were walking on. They were following the mysterious footprints until they saw his pride! Christina and Sam were so happy because they were looking everywhere and now they have finally found his mother along with his pride! Sam then let the cub free so he could go to its mother. Miss Marie said “Oh what a happy ending!”

They didn’t want to go back to their tents so they stayed and watch the pride playing happily and welcoming the baby cub back to their family. Then a leopard came crawling to Christina and she was glad to bend down and touch him Sam was excited because he never seen a Leopard before with his very own eyes so they went back to their tents to get ready to go back home.

When they arrived at their tents they packed up their tents and their bags and hopped back on the bus and went back to school. While they were on the bus Christina said “That was the best camp ever” The End
