Narrative Poem To create a story like fiction, a narrative poem contains: The elements of plot Conflict Character Setting

Rhyme Similar sounds at the end of two or more words When words have the same end sound. Happens at the beginning, end, or middle of lines Where Fair Air Bear Glare

Repetition Repeating of words or phrases or lines Nobody No, nobody Can make it out here alone. Alone, all alone Nobody, but nobody Can make it out here alone.

Alliteration Repetition of consonant sounds When the first sounds in words repeat. Example: Peter Piper picked a pickled pepper. We lurk late. We shoot straight.
