HOW you use groundwater You use groundwater in many ways sometimes you don’t know that your using it. You use it in the shower, when you wash your hands in the sink, and finally when you flush the toilet. Without groundwater you would not be able to get most of your daily needs. Sometimes you use groundwater and you don’t even realize it.

How groundwater gets to us Groundwater gets to us by going through the earth’s surface and comes up through the pipes. Groundwater is recharged from, and eventually flows to, the surface naturally. Natural discharge often occurs in the spring and it seeps, it can form oases and wetlands. Sometimes groundwater is also often withdrawn for agricultural, municipal.

Facts Half of everyone in the US drinks groundwater everyday. Groundwater comes from rain, water, sleet, and hail that soaks into the ground. Groundwater is stored in the ground with materials such as sand and gravel.

questions Where does groundwater first come from? Where do you use groundwater? Where is groundwater formed? What is groundwater formed with? How does groundwater get to us?
