Monday August 17 th Directions: Decide if each statement is true. If not, correct it. EX: I have six toes. (This statement is not true so we write a sentence to correct it.) Answer: I have 10 toes. 1. There are 11 planets in our solar system. 2. The stars in the sky are the same distance from earth. 3. It takes Earth one year to orbit the sun.

Tuesday August 18 th 1. Take your piece of paper, put your name and date on it and the number on your desk. 2. Turn to p.655 in your textbook or 713 on the Ipad. 3. Define the following terms: - electromagnetic radiation - spectrum - wavelength -telescope 4. Turn it into the proper tray.
