*ETHICS* The standards that help determine what is good, right, and proper

*JOB INTERVIEW* A discussion (usually face-to-face) to determine whether an applicant is suitable for a job

A person who requests or seeks something, such as a job *APPLICANT*

LESSON SUMMARY 1.When most people apply for jobs, they are required to complete a job application and/or submit a resume. 2.It is important when applying for a job, just as with other aspects of life, to exhibit ethical behavior. 3.One of the best ways a person can demonstrate to an employer that she or he is the best person for a job is through the process of a job interview. 4.One of the most important things a person can do to prepare for an interview is to anticipate the kinds of questions that the interviewer is likely to ask and practice.

Deduction-money taken out of your pay check Pay check- a check an employee receives for doing his job punctual-to be on time and prompt, not late job interview- a face to face meeting to discuss the applicants qualification
