ALGEBRA II PART: 2

FUNCTIONS BASICS!!! You Put the Input in here Get magic number :D A function is an equation for which any x that can be plugged into equation will give you the equation.

FUNCTION NOTATION TRY IT: F(X)=X2+1 F(2) Function notation is a way to write functions that is easy to read and understand.

FINDING SLOPE Y=3x+b There's Waldo.

DOMAIN AND RANGE Domain is how far across the x value spans. And range is up in down (y values) then you graph, it’s the span how how big or how small x can be.

EVALUATING FUNCTIONS FOR SPECIFIC INPUTS OR OUT PUTS For an simple formula like this, you would just plug in your inputs and your done. Ex: F(x)=x2+1 with F(2)

SLOPE INTERCEPT FORM Y=mx+b M stands for the slope and b stands for the y intercept. Slope ½ and corrdent (8,6) the just plug it and then just simple algebra

GRAPHING A LINEAR EQUATION. Y=2x+1, I’ll show you how to graph. Then we just graph
