What are the dates for the Mission Trip? Saturday July 9-Saturday July 16 th, 2016 Sunday July 17 th - Nicaragua Mission Trip Celebration in Worship Mission Trip Volunteers will have the opportunity to share their experiences with the congregation this day in church.
Where are we going? León, Nicaragua
Who are we working with? El Ayudante - El Ayudante means “the helper.” They are committed to hosting short-term ministry teams to work with local Nicaraguan community leaders toward bringing real change in people’s lives in the areas of spirituality, education, medicine, construction, and training. Teams are provided with an itinerary, meals, translators, and transportation. We will be working with a new community called Marañonal. This is a small intimate community who lives in wooden/metal/plastic shacks and have next to nothing.

What kind of work will we be doing? Our Mission Team will be divided into two working groups Construction and Labor Children’s Ministry with the Nicaraguan Christian Home (HCN)
Who can go on the mission trip? EVERYONE! This is a Church-Wide Mission Trip. That means that it will be intergenerational and our youngest and oldest members are welcome. Children Elementary Age and younger should be accompanied by a parent.
How much will it cost? El Ayudante Fee $570 Flight~$615 Additional Expenses~$100 Total Estimated Cost ~$1,285
What about Fundraising? Do not let the cost of the trip scare you away! We are in the process of finalizing fundraising options for the mission trip. Funds raised through the church will be distributed evenly among participants to help with the cost. Individual Funds can be raised through a fundraiser letter or websites like
What do I need to do if I am interested? Pray, asking God for discernment Fill out an application and mission trip covenant Get a Passport (suggested at least 3 months before the trip) Make sure your Tetnus Shot is up to date
