SpeakEasy Sarthak Bhandari and Daniel Zhang Wednesday, October 21st 2015

Motivation What is the #1 fear among Americans?: Public Speaking To combat this problem, our team decided to create a personal speech coach that anyone could use. Not designed to translate vocal patterns into written language

How it Works SpeakEasy takes two inputs, a “dry run” version, and a “perfect” one to be judged against We use Fourier Analysis to create spectrogram images of the audio files Image analysis to compare and deliver a result

Demonstration

Applications of SpeakEasy Public speech coaching Language learning Training auditory imitation

Future Developments Refine the algorithm Stream the audio Work in body movement and facial recognition Allow users to create accounts and see performance history
