Considering Prov 20:6 Are you a rare find???

Introduction “In 1947, young Bedouin shepherds, searching for a stray goat in the Judean Desert, entered a long-untouched cave and found jars filled with ancient scrolls. The initial discovery by the Bedouins yielded seven scrolls and began a search that lasted nearly a decade and eventually produced thousands scroll fragments from eleven caves. A look at this “Rare find” Joseph faithfully served those whom God had placed over him (Gen 37:12-13) Joseph proved faithful when given responsibilities (Gen 39:2-6) Joseph was faithful even when it proved costly to him (Gen 39:6b-10) Joseph was faithful when given both big responsibilities seen and small ones done in obscurity (Gen 39:19-23) Joseph remained faithful throughout the good times, and the bad (Gen 39:22-23) Joseph was faithful when given opportunities by God (Gen 41:16)

Points for us to consider today It’s easy to be faithful when everything is going well, but what happens when they aren’t? The faithful sticks to it because he/she knows there will come both good and bad times, but if they remain faithful, God will eventually bless them We need to proceed through life faithfully optimistic

Conclusion Prov 20:6 “Most men will proclaim each his own goodness, But who can find a faithful man?” Are you one of those rare finds???
