Enhance/Expand PC Rotations Need more clinical experiences in underserved communities. Must enroll students into the community. “Rural rotations and other rural curricular elements in medical school and residency training are critical to keeping students who have an interest in rural practice from looking elsewhere.” (AAFP.org, 2011)

M-SEARCH (Michigan Student/Resident Experiences and Rotations in Community Health): A system to facilitate student rotation placements in rural and urban underserved areas to build a pipeline of new primary care providers. (HRSA/MDCH Funded) ACE-MAPP (Michigan’s Advanced placement program): an internet-based matching system for clinical rotations to assist provider sites, students, and school coordinators to arrange clinical rotations.
