The Constitution is like the rule book because everyone has to obey it just like everyone obeys the Constitution

The people are like the fans because they come to the games and show their opinion just like the people do in the government

Boundary line The Executive branch is like the boundary line because it helps sets the limits just like the Executive branch helps set the limits

 The legislative branch is like the basketball because without it nothing will work

 The judicial branch is like the ref because he decides what happens just like judges decide what happens in court

 The President is like the coach because he says who is going to do what just like the President does for the U. S.

 Congress is like the Superintendent of the league because they schedule all of the meetings just like Congress does.

The Supreme court is like the free throw line because that is where you go if you are fouled

 Checks and Balances are like the players and the coach because they both have to check with each other on different things.

 Separation of Powers are like the coach, ref and players because they can only do certain things like the 3 branches can.

 The Constitutional Convention is like a pep talk because they talk about what they need to improve on just like they did at the Constitutional Convention

 George Washington is like the point guard because he calls out what they are going to do like George Washington did in the war.

 Shay’s Rebellion is like an argument with the ref because that is also a rebellion.

 James Madison is like the founder of basketball because James Madison is the founder of the Constitution.

 The House of Representatives is like the team logo because it represents their team just like the House of Representatives represent the State.
