What is an oligoculture? Oligoculture: –A supranational culture emerging from the convergence of characteristics shared by local cultures within an area delimited by a regional trade agreement such as NAFTA or MERCOSUR.

Reasons to create a regional web site Establish a virtual presence in areas where benefits do not justify the expense of localized sites for every language-culture. Reduce the costs associated with site management. Increase web visibility at reasonably low costs.
