The French Fry The french fry was popularized in the United States by the WWI veterans who enjoyed them overseas, in European drive-thrus.
McDonalds McDonalds began to sell J.R.’s frozen fries in The Corporation will not reveal the exact origin of the natural flavor added to its fries, however, they did acknowledge that its fries derive some of their characteristic flavor from “animal products”. Besides the original recipe of J.R’s french fries, McDonalds incorporated sugar into the fries.
