Small birds chatter in the trees in the pale winter sun and you can not go far in Kerch without seeing a cat or two or a friendly dog looking for a handout.

Busses and cars splash pedestrians as they whip through the puddles brought on by the wonderful warm spell. Ukraine has had weeks of record cold and lots of snow. It feels like Spring! These short side streets end on the Black Sea

Lovely old buildings speak of a grandeur and grace of another era.

Some beautiful architectural details survive the Soviet era. There is always something to look at on a walk through Kerch!
