Welcome to John’s PowerPoint

John Cabot Was Born  John Cabot was born around  He was born in Gaeta.

 John Cabot’s ship was called the Matthew.  He used this ship for all 3 of his voyages.

1 st voyage John Cabot left for America on May 20,1497. His crew consisted of only 18. He landed on America East coast on June 24 th 1497.

2 nd Voyage John and his son make a 2nd voyage to North America. He made that voyage in 1508.

HERE IS CABOT’S TRADE ROUTE

Married In 1482 Cabot got married to a North American woman.

He Died John Cabot died in He was 48 years old.
