What is a newspaper? A newspaper is a publication that is printed and distributed, usually daily or weekly, and contains world news, local news, Letters to the editor, entertainment, and classified ads.

Letters to the Editor Letters from readers who comment on news of the day and possibly the way it was reported. These are the opinions of readers written to the editor; the person who decides what gets printed in the newspaper.
