Describe how my family currently uses water saving techniques

Tanks We have two 4500 litre water tanks. The tanks in my home are very big. One is for the pool. The other is for watering the garden. Tanks help to save the rain water to use for other things around the house.

showers The rule in my house is that we must have 3 or 2 minute showers. We have a safe water saving timer. We never put the shower on full.

Washing Machine Sometimes we save the water from the washing machine to water the plants

Rain run off My dad puts a hose from the roof to catch the water when it rains to help fill the swimming pool. This saves the water tank water for our garden.

Kitchen When we wash the dishes we do not leave the tap running, instead we fill the sink. We also use the left over water from washing vegies for the garden. We also use the ice machine from the fridge.
