Debriefing Today’s Meeting: PLN Strategy: Please Do Now What is it? ▫An activating strategy for the lesson ▫Involves independent reading and writing (usually a requirement to write a certain # of lines) *Collins: Type 1 or Type 2 ▫Quick—usually no more than 5 minutes What is its purpose? ▫To build background knowledge ▫To prepare students for reading, writing or discussion (the Before)
