Web Leave System Updates 2011 Year-end Process Near Completion Balance Roll-over –240 annual leave hours carry forward –Pro-rated based on FTE –Excess moves to sick leave balance Transactions Still Pending Approval for 2011! –Approve all 2011 transactions by close of business Friday Data Clean-up On the Horizon

Web Leave System Updates Data Clean-up Reminder 1.Identify employees who remain in the web leave system, but no longer earn leave 2.Print the 2012 Monthly Breakdown Report for reference 3.Work in the current year (2012), not in the year in which the EE terminated or became ineligible 4.Post leave transaction to decrease the number of annual, sick and bonus leave balances (from the Monthly Breakdown Report) 5.Enter the EE’s status and effective date in the Comments field 6.Go to Modify Employee Database, select the EE and click on “Delete” to remove from the Web Leave System 7.Review the final Monthly Breakdown Report for zero balances

Web Leave System Updates Please… –Maintain accurate leave records Keep records up to date On a timely basis, zero out balances for those who are not eligible to earn leave, and delete the EE from the Web Leave system –Quarterly audit reminder Look at non-leave earning employees who are still in the web-leave system Consequences for non-compliance

Web Leave System Updates On the Horizon –Mark your calendars for February 10 th and 24 th –Web Leave training sessions will be announced through e-learning system –Basic Web Leave training for new Leave Administrators and those who need a refresher
