Through on-the-job experience, students will gain exposure to a career area of their choice to help in planning for their future.

Location: Main office in the DCA (1 st door on the left after the reception desk)

You are the elite group of juniors and seniors within this school. It is a privilege to get to participate in the WBL program. You represent young adults, your families, DHS and the City Schools of Decatur in our community... Before the Rules…

Each Student will create a 1- inch presentation style notebook. This will be the manual for this course. It will have ALL of your assignments for the whole year…and it is due at the end of the course. You are responsible for keeping this up-to- date! Watch for “spot- checks”!

Cover Page- On Front and Inside Name in the spine Divide into 8 sections 1. “Attendance” (this will be kept Monthly) 2. “1 st Quarter” 3. “2 nd Quarter” 4. “3 rd Quarter” 5. “4 th Quarter” 6. “Documentation Forms” 7. “Handbook” 8. “Miscellaneous” Keep notebooks up-to-date, neat and organized. If personnel from the central office comes to your work-site, you must be able to show them your notebook on the spot.
