The history of Video games History on consoles

Magnavox odyssey This was the first ever console for the home and was done in 1972 and was unique at the time as no one else did. But was never popular due to it was boring, needed a second player and it cost at the time $200.

Pong console Pong was the first popular arcade hit and came so popular that every one was making there own pong console arcade and home consoles but the originator was Atari. In 1975

Fairchild Channel F This was in a bad time as at that time no one brought console but it was the first to use cartages but it was expensive so it was never really a hit.

Atari 2600 This was the console that brought back gaming and also made the second video game crash due to ET the worst game in history. But the games were great and easy to play.

NES This was the first console to be a big hit as Nintendo lied and said it wasn’t a console, it a toy with a robot and it plays with you. They only made two games for the robot and the rest was for single or double player without the robot.

PlayStation 4 VS Xbox One This is a big Battle for the next gen. As Xbox reversed every ting they said to beat the PS4 and is really close on the pre-order side and won’t finish until the next console and game coming out on the consoles.
